STAX SRM-T8000
SRM-T8000 is Stax's latest flagship electrostatic headphone amplifier utilizing hybrid technology. It employs two 6922 in the input stage, driving a Class-A solid-state output stage. The vacuum tubes isolated in a separate section made of vibration-proof damper and shield cover to eliminate vibration and noise. The high-capacity large toroidal transformers and selected high-quality parts allow the highest refinement in sound.
FIRST LARGE-SIZED TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER, CLEAR HIGH-QUALITY SOUND
The SRM-T8000 is the first driver unit by STAX that has a large-sized Toroidal Transformer. This reduces the leakage flux and helps in keeping noise low. It also leads to high-speed reproduction of sound across a wide frequency range. The SRM-T8000 uses a 6922 dual triode tube. These high-quality tubes are mounted on an independent board to eliminate vibration and noise.
STAY CONNECTED, HIGH-GRADE MATERIALS & LIGHTWEIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL
Now you can easily connect your earspeakers with this driver with 4 pairs of input (the fourth one is optional). These can bypass the volume controller letting you use the SRM-T8000 as an exclusive power amplifier. What does combining an aluminium insulator, vibration-proof material and high frictional coefficient lead to? Well, a really high amount of friction power. This, and other high-quality electronic parts, together give you great tone quality and performance. Unlike most driver units that have an iron chassis, the SRM-T8000 has a non-magnetic aluminium chassis. This has made the unit lighter while eliminating a cloudy tone quality. The aluminium also adds to its sleek look.
