Description
PX-8 Phono Preamplifier
Years in the making, the PX-8 Phono Preamplifier is set to bring you both analog, and digital bliss* in one box, featuring some of our most ambitious technology to date.
The PX-8 features two separate analog inputs with a balanced and unbalanced connection, and independent gain and load setting changes that can be adjusted from the front panel. Having no need for dip switches or internal jumpers, the PX-8 Phono Preamp will quickly become a favorite among tone arm and cartridge connoisseurs.
A third and optional input can also be equipped for each channel on the PX-8, which supports the DS Audio brand of Optical Cartridges. This unique technology, when paired with our fully balanced, discrete, zero-feedback design language, will unlock details in your recordings, and reduce noise to levels yet experienced before with your record collection.
Another state of the art option we bring to the PX-8 that has been years in the making, is a premium analog to digital conversion output circuit. This optional board is outfitted with USB, COAX/SPDIF, and TOSLINK optical output, which allows users to digitize and archive their vinyl collection. This also makes the PX-8 the first all in one solution to digitize the new DS Audio Optical Cartridge playback, when equipped with both available options.
