The TXi Transport is designed as the perfect companion to the latest generation of EMM Labs converters. Utilizing our proprietary EMM Link connection, digital data is transmitted with absolute precision and timing integrity to our award-winning DACs. Integration is seamless — the DAC becomes the intuitive user interface for the transport, thanks to robust RS232 communication, resulting in a unified and effortless experience that elevates both form and function.

At the heart of the TXi lies power — and not just any power. It’s equipped with our next-generation Meitner X-Power System: an in-house engineered and built switch-mode power supply that delivers ultra-low noise, minimal ripple, and class-defining power stability. This meticulous approach ensures the digital signal remains pristine from disc to DAC.

The transport mechanism itself is a feat of engineering — a hybrid top-loader and traditional drawer, combining precision mechanics with tactile elegance. It invites the listener to engage with their music collection anew, encouraging hours of immersive listening, disc after disc.

• Flagship drawer/top-loader CD transport mechanism with integrated suspension – Purpose-built for compact disc playback, the precision drawer and top-loading mechanism incorporates a robust suspension system to isolate the transport from external vibration and chassis-borne noise, ensuring optimal disc reading accuracy and long-term mechanical stability.
  
  
• Precision-machined, damped aluminium chassis – CNC-machined from high-grade aluminum and internally damped, the chassis offers exceptional rigidity and vibration control; its non-magnetic construction minimizes interference and supports pristine signal transmission.
  
  
• Optimized digital audio path from disc to output – Engineered specifically for CD data, the signal path is fully optimized for timing accuracy and noise isolation, preserving the integrity of the audio signal from disc extraction to digital output.
  
  
• Proprietary high-isolation resonant mode power supply – Developed in-house, this advanced power supply architecture employs high-frequency resonant mode operation to dramatically reduce AC ripple and switching noise; its inherently low-noise topology is combined with high-isolation design techniques to minimize coupling of interference into sensitive audio circuits, with carefully regulated and precisely filtered power rails delivering clean, stable energy to every stage of the transport.
  
  
• EMM Optilink interface for DA2i and DV2i integration – EMM Labs’ proprietary Optilink optical interface provides a galvanically isolated, clock-synchronized connection to DA2i and DV2i D/A converters, ensuring ultra-low-jitter, bit-perfect transmission between transport and DAC.

  Plug-and-play compatibility with DA2i and DV2i D/A converters – Designed to operate as a seamless system when paired with EMM Labs’ flagship DACs; a firmware update to the DAC may be required to enable full functionality.

• RS232 communication interface – Provides integration with advanced control systems for automation, monitoring, and remote diagnostics.

  Force-eject and service mode access buttons – Rear panel controls include a force-eject button for manual disc removal and a dedicated service mode button used to initiate firmware updates or enter diagnostic modes via EMM’s CLoader protocol.

• Field-upgradeable firmware via EMM CLoader protocol – Supports user-performable firmware updates using EMM Labs' proprietary CLoader system, enabling in-field enhancements and maintenance without factory service.
