Description

Connect 212 Audio | XLR

  • High-purity OFC copper conductors for maximum signal clarity
  • Dense shielding provides effective protection against interference
  • Foamed PE dielectric for minimal signal loss
  • Durable full-metal connectors with gold-plated contacts

The Connect 212 Audio XLR offers a sonically neutral and technically high-quality connection for demanding hi-fi and studio applications. Its highly flexible design and discreet appearance allow for easy integration into any setup. The signal conductors are made of highly pure, oxygen-free copper (OFC) and insulated with foamed polyethylene - a material with a particularly low dielectric constant that promotes low-loss signal transmission. The true balanced construction with separate conductors for hot, cold, and ground ensures stable, low-noise signal routing and enables effective suppression of hum interference and external noise sources.

A dense copper braid made of 186 fine wires serves as effective shielding against external influences such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or power supplies. The gold-plated solid metal XLR connectors guarantee a permanently reliable contact with low contact resistance and high mechanical stability. The Connect 212 is made in Germany and individually tested for signal integrity - ensuring uncompromising quality and long-lasting listening pleasure.

Sound doesn't start at the amplifier

Audio cables are far more than simple connections between source and amplifier – they play a crucial role in how much of the music actually reaches you. Every RCA cable acts electrically like a network of resistance, capacitance, and inductance. These properties influence whether details are preserved or whether highs lose brilliance and lows lose precision. Especially with audio interconnects, copper quality, insulation, and shielding are essential for low-loss, interference-free signal transmission. The S25 series uses high-purity OFC copper, foamed PE dielectric, and flexible, durable materials. This keeps the music signal clear, true to the source, and authentic – so you hear what’s really on the recording. A good cable doesn’t color the sound – it transmits it. It’s the solid bridge between your components and musical expression.

Foamed PE: High-Quality Dielectric

A key quality feature of the S25 audio cables is the foamed polyethylene (PE) used as the dielectric. Air is – right after vacuum – the best dielectric because it has an extremely low dielectric constant. Foamed PE takes advantage of this by enclosing microscopic air bubbles within the material. This significantly reduces the electrical conductivity of the insulator and minimizes the cable's capacitance. The result: signal losses are drastically reduced, and the transmission remains clear, fast, and natural. Compared to solid insulators like PVC, the foamed PE dielectric ensures especially precise and uncolored sound reproduction. This allows even the finest details, dynamics, and spatiality of your music to fully come through – creating a listening experience that comes very close to the original in the studio.

OFC Copper: Pure Material for Pure Music

For the S25 audio cables, we use only highly pure, oxygen-free copper (OFC) with a purity level of at least 99.95%. This material offers excellent conductivity and reduces contact losses – even over longer cable runs. Additionally, OFC copper is especially resistant to corrosion, ensuring sonic stability over the years. Combined with the foamed PE dielectric and dense shielding, the signal remains unaltered – from the source to the amplifier. The S25 cables deliver music with high clarity and authentic dynamics – honest, direct, and without artificial coloration.

Dense Shielding & Floating Shield

Especially for RCA audio cables, high-quality shielding is crucial to protect the sensitive signal from interference caused by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or power supplies. The S25 series relies on a tightly woven high-density copper braid and a so-called floating shield: the shielding is electrically separated from the signal and directs interference away without acting as a source of noise itself. This keeps the audio signal free from hum, noise, and high-frequency interference – even in demanding home environments. The result is a clean, interference-free transmission with maximum detail accuracy.

Thoughtful engineering

The S25 series combines high-quality materials, intelligent design, and skilled craftsmanship into an audiophile cable concept that makes high-end sound accessible to newcomers.

Every cable a promise: Quality assurance in the S25 series

Before any cable from the S25 series leaves our manufacturing facility, it is individually tested for complete signal continuity. This ensures that every connection from the plug to the conductor functions flawlessly. This final inspection is part of our uncompromising commitment to quality – because even at the entry level of high-end hi-fi, every detail matters.

Manufacturing quality for entry into high-end

The S25 series was developed as an entry point into the world of high-end hi-fi – 100% made in Germany. Each cable is produced in our in-house workshop: carefully handcrafted, individually tested, and technically refined down to the last detail. We invest in high-quality materials, solid expertise, and genuine craftsmanship – not in glossy wrapping or excessive packaging. The sturdy cardboard packaging protects what matters most: your listening experience. Because sound doesn’t come from appearances, but from quality – honest, direct, and authentic.

Why Choose Inakustik

Inakustik approaches cable design very differently from many traditional high-end cable manufacturers. Rather than focusing heavily on “voicing” or adding a particular sonic flavour, the German company applies a deeply technical and engineering-led philosophy centred around measurable signal transmission accuracy, conductor geometry, and material science. The result is a cable range that feels exceptionally precise, refined, and technically accomplished without becoming sterile or clinical.

At HeyNow Hi-Fi, Inakustik products often appeal to customers looking for a highly resolved and sophisticated presentation while still retaining musical realism and ease. There is a sense of precision and order to the sound that can be particularly impressive in complex recordings, helping systems sound cleaner, faster, and more spatially organised. Instruments occupy space with greater stability, transient response feels sharper and more realistic, and subtle ambient information becomes easier to follow throughout the recording.

Inakustik also stands apart through the sheer quality of its engineering and manufacturing. Many of the company’s higher-level Reference cables utilise intricate air-helix construction methods and highly advanced conductor arrangements that are visually as impressive as they are technically ambitious. For customers who appreciate engineering integrity and beautifully executed industrial design, Inakustik offers a very distinctive proposition within the high-end cable market.

Signature Design and Sound

Manufactured in Germany, Inakustik products showcase an unusually high level of technical development and manufacturing precision. Their advanced Air Helix and air dielectric technologies are designed to minimise capacitance and reduce unwanted electrical interaction within the cable structure itself, helping preserve signal integrity with exceptional accuracy.

Visually, many Inakustik cables have a highly engineered appearance, with complex external structures and precision-built terminations that immediately communicate the brand’s technical focus. Unlike softer or more traditional cable designs, Inakustik products often feel purpose-built and unapologetically modern.

Sonically, Inakustik cables are known for delivering exceptional speed, separation, and spatial precision. The presentation feels highly articulate and transparent, with excellent layering and transient definition. High frequencies remain extended and refined without becoming sharp, while bass performance feels controlled, agile, and highly detailed.

Rather than softening or romanticising the sound, Inakustik products tend to maximise system clarity and precision while still maintaining musical balance and long-term listenability. This makes them particularly effective within high-resolution systems where accuracy, timing, and image focus are critical priorities.

Inakustik Product Range

The Inakustik range includes speaker cables, RCA and XLR interconnects, USB cables, Ethernet cables, HDMI cables, optical cables, power cables, and acoustic accessories across multiple performance levels. Their highly regarded Reference series incorporates many of the company’s most advanced conductor and dielectric technologies, offering increasingly sophisticated levels of performance as systems evolve.

Inakustik also produces a wide range of digital-focused products that have become increasingly relevant within modern streaming and server-based Hi-Fi systems. Their Ethernet and USB products in particular are highly regarded by customers seeking greater stability, resolution, and refinement from digital playback chains.

For listeners seeking technically advanced German-engineered cable solutions with exceptional build quality, precision, and system transparency, Inakustik remains one of the most distinctive and technologically ambitious brands in contemporary high-end audio cabling.
