Appointed with a magnificent gold speckle finish, the Koetsu Urushi Tsugaru phono cartridge is the fruit of an extremely labour-intensive process that ultimately yields one of the best sounding and looking phono cartridges the world has ever seen. In addition to the 99.9999% pure copper wiring, advanced magnets and the precision custom-made stylus the hand-crafted Urushi Tsugaru features a gorgeous Urushi body.
On the Urushi Tsugaru, the finishing process hardens the hand-carved rosewood body and accounts for a much more detailed, nuanced presentation than that which is possible with a non-lacquered rosewood body. Combine these exceptional traits with Koetsu’s fabled tonal richness, balanced harmonics and layered midrange and you have a rare musical instrument that seduces with organic, ultra-precise sound and an heirloom quality appearance.
