Drive Belts

All Michell turntable drive belts are made of a proprietary rubber compound, designed to keep your vinyl revolving at precisely the correct speed, while also minimising any vibration transfer from the motor to the turntable. The drive belts are first made using ultra-precise injection moulds, they are then cryogenically treated to remove any flash from the moulding process and finally each belt is precision ground on a Michell designed belt grinding machine. This ensures each belt has a smooth grippy surface and that the section of the belt is consistent all the way around the belt, this is essential to keep wow and flutter to an absolute minimum.
