The X1 B utilises Pro-Ject's True Balanced connection to deliver music that's defined by incredible clarity and free of noise and distortion. Now fitted with your choice of cartridge, and equipped with a 5-pin mini XLR cable, all you need to do is connect to a Pro-Ject 'True Balanced' phono stage, and the X1 B will serve up thrillingly pure and precise analogue audio.

True Balanced Unleash the full power
Simply upgrade your X1 B to a MC cartridge, connect it with one of our new True Balanced Phono Cables to your phono preamp and benefit from an interference-free signal with increased dynamics & lower noise level.
Mini XLR Output One cable connects it all
We offer a wide range of balanced phono cables with different connectors to fit all our phono preamps. If you want to use your X1 B with a Phono Box S3 B you need a „Connect it Phono Mini XLR / Mini XLR“.
Balanced A perfect match!

8,6'' Carbon-Aluminium Tonearm
Finished as a one-piece, with no resonance-inducing headshell, the X1 is available with premounted high quality Pick it S2 MM cartridge. Its superstiff and perfectly damped construction provides a perfect tracking of the record groove.
Motor suspension
Stainless steel platter-bearing with soft brass bushing and teflon mirrors together with a new motor suspension for better decoupling of the motor vibrations to tonearm and chassis ensure lowest rumble and noise.
