The BR05 enriches the Borea range with a retro-chic speaker, designed as a bridge between nostalgia and modernity. Conceived to offer a generous first approach to high fidelity, it combines the range's iconic EFS tweeter with a new 21cm cellulose pulp mid-bass driver.

Developed specifically for this model, it benefits from meticulous work to preserve the signature TRIANGLE sound, balancing liveliness and naturalness while delivering impressive spaciousness. Its optimized cabinet, combined with the DVAS architecture and a new port, ensures controlled bass reproduction. Available in five finishes, the BR05 can be paired with the S03 stand, which features an 8° incline for elegant integration and optimized listening.

From the very first notes, the BR05 impresses with its solid foundation. Its 21cm driver delivers a full and rich bass. Its reproduction of vocals, instruments, and percussion offers a surprising presence for a speaker of this size.

A CUSTOM-MADE DESIGN

At the heart of the BR05 lies an all-new 21cm mid-bass driver, developed specifically for this model. Far from solely focusing on bass power, a significant portion of the development work concentrated on the quality of the midrange, an essential element for the speaker's musicality.

Membrane

Cellulose Pulp: This iconic TRIANGLE material plays a central role here. Its papery texture, without surface treatment, promotes a rich and nuanced reproduction of timbres, giving voices and instruments a sense of substance and presence.

New profile

The dust cap and cone profile have been meticulously adjusted to achieve the best balance between fullness and finesse. The result is a generous listening experience, capable of combining deep bass with subtle midrange and the musical pleasure characteristic of the BOREA signature.

Optimized structure

Derived from developments made for the BR10, its extensively perforated structure ensures high rigidity while promoting airflow around the coil. This improves heat dissipation and helps maintain consistent performance during even the most dynamic passages.

Engine

The motor has been generously sized, ensuring precise diaphragm control, even at high listening levels. The central core features a copper demodulation ring, drastically reducing distortion.

AN OPTIMIZED CABINETMAKING

The BR05's casing was not only designed to house its large-format speaker, but to reveal its full potential.

1 - High-density materials
The cabinetry is made of high-density MDF panels, with a thickness of up to 21 mm.

2 - Reinforced structure
The cabinet incorporates two additional braces to provide a more stable mechanical base for the speaker. This limits internal resonances, even at high listening levels.

3 - DVAS System
This structure helps to dissipate mechanical energy and reduces vibrations transmitted to the woodwork.

Dual front-facing bass-reflex ports

CONTROLLED AIRFLOW

Thanks to its large excursion, the 21 cm driver is capable of moving a significant volume of air. Using a single port could have generated excessive air velocity, leading to turbulence and flow noise at high listening levels.

The dual vent allows this airflow to be distributed over a larger surface area, improving bass clarity. This design thus contributes to better power handling, more stable sound reproduction, and deep, perfectly controlled low frequencies.

FREEDOM OF INVESTMENT

Placed on the floor on its supplied base or installed on the S03 supports: in both configurations, an incline directs the speakers towards the listener.

For the most demanding installations, the BR05 can also be paired with the optional S03 stands. Designed to complement its form factor, they allow you to position the speaker at an ideal listening height, while showcasing its sonic potential and design. This stand is available in two finishes, black and white, to best suit your preferences.

TWEETER EFS

This tweeter combines a 25mm fabric dome with a phase plug, whose role is to homogenize the diffusion of high frequencies.

DOUBLE TERMINAL BLOCK

Compatible with dual wiring and With bi-amplification, the BRO5 adapts to different configurations and allows for a further optimization of the Hi-Fi installation.

OPTIMIZED FILTERING

The BRO5 incorporates rigorously selected components, combining wound inductors with polyester film capacitors and cemented resistors.

ELEGANT FINISH

The association of a box with Wood tones and a plain facade create a two-tone identity, both warm and contemporary.

MATCHING RUGS

The speakers are integrated naturally thanks to matching rushes, reinforcing the visual coherence and the simplicity of the design.
