The box size and shape allow more bass and depth to be generated, resulting in a more realistic sound. If you think the Floor stander is too large for your room visually, please bear in mind that standard-sized floor-standing speakers are the approximate dimensions of a bookshelf speaker on a stand. These have more depth of sound, though.
