The Distributor 1 is perfect for adding Meridian sound in your home. It is designed to integrate your distributed audio sources and your control system with a pair of DSP Loudspeakers.

This product is designed for a single zone application. Typically used with a matrix switch the Distributor 1 can accommodate analogue, digital, and SpeakerLink sources.

The Distributor 1 is a simple single zone solution that allows you to easily integrate analogue, digital and SpeakerLink audio into any DSP speaker. It is ideal when used on the end of a HDMI matrix system to provide high quality audio from the television.

Features

INPUT EXPANDER

Adds more inputs to Meridian Digital Active loudspeakers. It provides a SpeakerLink passthrough, a digital co-ax input and an analogue input via its high-quality onboard ADC.

CONTROL ENABLER

Allows RS232 control of Meridian loudspeakers from third-party control systems via its 9-pin DSub connector.

INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION TOOL

An excellent aid while setting-up and troubleshooting systems featuring Meridian Digital Active loudspeakers. Allows audio playback to be monitored “on-the-fly” while experimenting with changing settings via RS232.
