Signature Design and Sound

Handcrafted in Japan, Mutech cartridges are built around R.M. Kanda’s distinctive yokeless ring magnet moving coil architecture. Unlike conventional iron-core moving coil designs, the yokeless structure is engineered to reduce magnetic resistance and improve electromagnetic efficiency, contributing to extremely low internal impedance, improved transient response, and unusually strong signal output for a moving coil cartridge.
