The SE DSP7200HC is designed for mounting under a large-screen TV, behind an acoustically-transparent projection screen and in systems that include Meridian free-standing or in-wall loudspeakers.

The Special Edition DSP7200HC provides sound that is incredibly lifelike in scale and tone. This horizontal centre-channel loudspeaker offers Enhanced Bass Alignment that corrects the delays inherent on low frequencies, resulting in a sweeter, more natural sound. Our unique Centre Elevation technology allows the Special Edition DSP7200HC to be placed below the screen while having its sound image match perfectly with the on-screen action, creating an immersive movie experience.

Perfect for movies or music, the Special Edition DSP7200SE HC is the ideal companion for both a pair of Special Edition DSP7200 or Special Edition DSP8000 loudspeakers in a multi-channel system. The DSP7200SE HC provides sound that is incredibly lifelike, in scale and tone. The horizontal centre channel enables a stunningly effective home theatre set-up, while also providing seamless sound staging for music in Trifield. Finished as standard in a piano lacquer black, the Special Edition Range is also available in any of the 270 Meridian Select colours. The range offers a choice of full range floor standing or horizontal centre channel options, for audio or home cinema solutions.

Image Elevation psychoacoustically raises the sound image to the centre of a screen – where the listener would expect to hear it from.

Bespoke Signal Mapping

Meridian Bespoke Signal Mapping utilises digital signal processing to apply tailored crossover filters that are designed specifically for each configuration of drive units within a loudspeaker.

E3 Bass

Meridian E3 Bass uses specifically designed filters to expand, extend and enhance the low-frequency response of the loudspeaker.

FFA

FFA (Full Frequency Alignment) is a combination of digital filters and delays to correct the group-delay of a loudspeakers. It ensures that all frequencies reach the listener’s ear at the same time.

Pro-Active Bass

Meridian Pro-Active Bass protects the bass drivers from over-excursion, ensuring maximum bass output without damaging the drive units.

Pro-Active Thermal

Meridian Pro-Active Thermal monitors the audio being sent to the mid-range drivers and tweeters and limits the overall volume of the loudspeaker if there is a risk of the drive units getting too hot.

Q-Sync

Meridian Q-Sync deploys Meridian's multiple “First In, First Out” buffering system which minimizes jitter, ensuring perfect timing and improved clarity.

True Time

True Time is Meridian's proprietary Anodizing Filter that avoids pre-ringing and cleans up the effects of early filters, converting pre-echo to post-echo.

True Link

Meridian True Link is an encryption method for transferring high-definition digital audio over SPDIF connections. It allows secure movement of digital audio whilst ensuring that the SPDIF clock signal can be transmitted with minimum degradation.
