Performance Upgrade: DAC2X to DAC2X V2

The DAC2x V2 upgrade consists of a new digital input architecture and new FPGA firmware to allow for DSD128 and DXD playback via USB, DSD64 on all other inputs, as well as sonic improvements to the modulator and filter operation. This upgrade package was introduced by Mariusz Pawlicki, our R&D Manager as a “clean slate” and an introduction to the new design philosophy of EMM Labs. The DAC2x V2 also allowed for NS1 Network Steamer compatibility via the EMM Optilink input.
